Hello Megan,

My sisters and I had a lovely few days break at the Island Views Apartments Palm Cove. We were very impressed with the apartment. It was equipped with absolutely everything one could possibly need. The personal BBQ was a real plus!

Our activities were very limited, as we used the time to just relax and unwind from our busy home schedule. We visited the casino, where one of my sisters had a good win on the pokies and on other evenings we either ate out at local venues or cooked on the BBQ. We even caught the bus into Smithfield on one occasion. This is the first time I have ever used public transport in Cairns and it was a good experience.

However most of our time was spent in sleeping in, reading, walking, and having a few glasses of wine in the evenings and generally catching up with one another.

We were very happy with the service provided by FNQ Apartments and will definately use you for future bookings. Everything was clearly defined in your emails and we knew exactly what to expect. You may use any comments I have made. Thankyou very much for the voucher, I'm sure it will come to good use.

If anyone asks about what activity to do, I suggest that they hire a car and drive down to Innisfail, then up the Palmerston Range and have lunch at the Millaa Millaa Teahouse. We did that in the week before we stayed at Palm Cove, and my sisters who are from Melbourne absolutely loved it. The drive is very scenic and the lunch taken on their rear deck overlooking the farmlands was just superb!
